Payment form from the Neubrandenburg tax office (RiA)

Enter the last name and first name of the person for whom payment is being made (taxpayer). If you are the taxpayer, enter your own name. If you are making a payment on behalf of someone else who owes taxes to the Neubrandenburg tax office, enter the name of that person.

Enter the tax number of the taxpayer named in the tax assessment notice. Tax numbers have the following format: 070/xxx/xxxxx (tax numbers for the Neubrandenburg tax office always start with 070). The tax number can be found in the tax assessment notice (see: image).

You can make payments for up to 5 separate years in one payment transaction. Select the calendar year for which you would like to make a payment and enter the total amount of tax due for that year (income tax plus solidarity surcharge and interest). The total amount can be found in the tax assessment notice (see: image). Please note that this amount may have increased in the meantime if the due date has passed and late payment charges have been incurred.

The total amount must be stated in euros. If you are paying in a foreign currency, you must cover any currency conversion fees that are incurred. The tax office will cover only those fees that are incurred for the money transfer, based on the payment method you select (for example, fees for the transfer via credit card).
